Let Me Paint This Picture for You...

Writing the Phoenix/Edgeworth story (or should I say Edgeworth/Phoenix) has surprised me in more ways than possible. I wrote it purely for the sex scenes, and only for the sex scenes, but as I revised a second time yesterday, it became something meaningful. It turned from being a mere gratuitous sex story to an angst filled, nostalgic romp. Bottom line: It's epic. The emotions are epic and the feelings are powerful. I'm shocked. The story went a complete 180 degree turn from its previous intention. Yes, there will be hot sex scenes. It's just that there's meaning behind those scenes (my favorite kind.)

Honestly, I had more fun writing this story than the MMX ones. Blasphemy, but true. Perhaps, it's because I relate more to the Phoenix/Edgeworth relationship than I did writing Zero/X. Could be because writing love scenes for Zero/X was difficult as hell. I mean, they're robots. I don't know if I will write another Phoenix Wright fanfic after this. I'm guessing if people like it then I'll write more. The story is already at two chapters (!).

But hey, I might post an excerpt in the distant future. So, I guess watch out and be astounded by my horrible writing skills.
